Back in the Ceramics Studio

I am finally making new ceramic work. I stumbled into a local studio that offers membership, and with strong encouragement from my wife, I signed up. I get access to the studio during business hours and about 15 pieces per month (depending on size). It has been amazing to get my hands back in clay. I feel so much better about life now that I am creating again. I am using Laguna SB Red. The studio fires to Cone 5 and has a variety of glazes that I have not yet had a chance to explore.

There is a strange combination of familiarity and strangeness to this. New clay, new studio, but the same skills come back to my hands as I sit at the wheel. Here are a few of my first pieces at the new studio. I will post updates once I have fired work.
